Your latest CD/DVD -purchases

Ok, so they have a thread like this at mikser.net, which is long as hell, naturally. Actually, there are two threads, for CD's and DVD's, but I thought I could make a thread with both of them in it. So just simply write here what have you ordered/bought last time. You can also tell something about your purchases, like why did you buy/order it, where did you buy/order it and how much did you pay for it/them. If you can be arsed, you can also link to your purchases :)

Ok, I'm the first, me! Yesterday I bought these from a shop:

Coldplay - X&Y - Yes, I did order it as well, but it never came as there weren't any left in the online shop, so they're going to pay me back. I saw the album at this shop with a price tag of 12.99e so I thought what the hell I'm going to buy it! Hehe. ---> Shop.

Brokeback Mountain - So I bought yesterday from a shop as well, it was so cheap, just like 7.95e! I still think it's one of the greatest movies ever made (it's in my personal Top 5 movies of all-time!), so I recommend the movie to everyone who like actual movies, those who are into drama like I am. ---> Shop.

Also, I ordered these yesterday:

Schindler's List (2-disc) - This is also one of the greatest movies of all time (also in my personal Top 5 movies of all-time) and now when I decided to begin buy movies as well, I thought I want this one to be in my collection! ---> Discshop.fi, 9.95e - There's a huge winter sale going on there! You can get top movies like this one for less than 10 euros!

The Shawshank Redemption - I have to admit that I've never seen this movie, which I'm ashamed of as it's on second place of IMDB's Top 250 movies of all-time and it has the best rating of all movies at Dischop.fi, so it can't be bad, now can it? ---> Dischop.fi, 8.95e

Daft Punk - Discovery - I figured out that I don't have this album from somekind of a reason! :wtf: I still think it's the BEST album ever made! So, naturally I wanted it to be in my collections, so I ordered it, weeehee! I've heard all the songs in it like million times, but I just wanted to have it, so... ---> Platta.net, 9.90e

So, yesterday I went crazy again and bought/ordered 3 DVD's and 2 CD's! :)

So, what is/are your latest purchase/purchases? Let's keep this thread alive my friends!

Oh, darn! This shouldn't be in the "Music" -forum, as it's about DVD's as well! Henri, could you please move this to "General Talk"...?

Lets see,

I recently bought these:

Shen "Outlines". It's a brilliant downtempo album, like ambient breakbeat.

Rena Jones "Driftwood". Blend of classical, IDM, and ambient, another great album!

for DVDs i havent really bought anything new in the past few months.

Hehe yeah, that's most probably the reason. I'm sure that after a long break it will sound good again :)

Just ordered these amazing movies:

The Aviator - Also in my personal Top 5 movies of all time, so I just had to have it in my collection! ---> Discshop.fi, 12.95e

War of the Worlds - I think this movie is one of the most unrespected movies ever. I loved this movie when I first saw it, so now I just simply had to have it in my collection, hehe ---> Dischop.fi, 9.95e

Just bought the following movies:

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - Never seen this one straigt through from the beginning to the end. I've just seen it from here and there. Also, it's 39th at the Top 250 Movies of all time -list at IMDB.com, so it can't be that bad now can it? ---> Shop, 6.95e

Amistad - Never seen this movie either, but my brother and father says it's amazing so I had to buy it. The cast in it is pretty amazing too - Morgan Freeman, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Matthew McConaughey and Djimon Honsou who by the way was an Academy Award nominee this year from his role in "Blood Diamond". ---> Shop 6.95e

Oh yeah I totally forgot about this thread!

Ordered the following CD's yesterday:
Daft Punk - Human After All - I'm just collecting all the Daft Punk -albums.. ---> CDON.com, 8.95e

Sigur Rós - Takk - I've heard it a million times through, but I just had to have it so.. ---> CDON.com 8.95e

Various Artists - Trance The Ultimate Collection Vol. 1 2007 - I have number one and number two from last year, so I thought I'd get these 2007's as well. Didn't really look at what tracks it had, I'm just collecting. ---> CDON.com, 21.95e

Various Artists - Trance The Ultimate Collection Vol. 2 2007 - ^^ ---> CDON.com, 21.95e

Then I purchased two DVD's today:
Children of Men - Oh well, if you've read what I said about the film at my review thread, then you know what I had to have it... ---> Shop, 19.95??

Heat - It has a 8.1 rating at IMDb and I think I've never seen it. Al Pacino, Robert De Niro and Val Kilmer.. You can't go wrong with that now can you? It was so cheap :P ---> Shop, 5.95e

I actually just saw the big lebowski a week ago :P I didn't really get it at first watch, but it was very cleverly made. Especially the big patriot redneck guy's character is superb :D

I still haven't watched it, but will do some day when I have time :P

Ordered the following CD's yesterday..:

Daft Punk - Homework - Yup, still collecting.. ---> CDON.com, 8.95e

Frank Sinatra - My Way - The Best of Frank Sinatra (2CD) - Sinatra rocks! ---> CDON.com, 6.95e

Simon & Garfunkel - Greatest Hits - I remember them being good and as the CD was so cheap I decided to buy it.. ---> CDON.com, 5.95e

And at the same time I also ordered a CD-case from CDON.com. It has room for 96 CD's. I had to buy a new one because my 48-cd-case hasn't got any room anymore, hehe. And the CD-case was on sale, so only ---> 7.95e

Then I also ordered a few DVD's. Just a few, as I must get hold of myself otherwise I spend all my money, lol..:

Donnie Darko - I've heard it's weird and disturbing, but that it's also intelligent. It's supposed to be good and it has a pretty high rating at IMDb as well. It also was so cheap as well... ---> Discshop.fi, 6.95e

Twelve Monkeys - Special Edition - If you've read my review at the review topic, you may understand why I must have it. ---> Dischop.fi, 9.95e

C.R.A.Z.Y. - It's a good film and it was extra cheap ---> Discshop.fi, 4.95e

So again, something to wait for :)

Ferry Corsten presents - Passport United States of America

I thought that this was a really good mix. There are some new songs by Solar Stone, Lemon & Einar K, and System F. Good collection of songs and a cool DVD of his USA tour.

Armin Van Buuren - A State of Trance 2007 -

This was a decent CD. Some of the tracks are really good, but some are snoozers. Overall the CD is a 7/10.
